Shop Hop: Are you getting ready for the next Shop Hop in August? I am really looking forward to it. The name of the Hop is Orange Blossom Hop. Each shop will design a pattern that will be available during the hop.
Machine Quilting: Jennie will be at school learning new Machine Quilting Techniques from May 14th to May 22nd. If you would like an appointment please call the shop to schedule. Quilt Shows for May: Lake City is having their Annual Quilt Walk May 9 th and 10 th . Quilts will be displayed in the Lake City Downtown Shops. Lake City is approximately 2 ½ hours north of Leesburg. Hopefully, there will be no fires this year so the weather should be nice and clear with no smoke.
Downtown Happenings: Leesburg Saturday Morning Market has ended for the season and will return in October, but remember, there is Gardener's Produce right next door to my shop.
Thangles Block of the Month: The price for the first month is $7.50 plus tax then $2.00 per block. You can choose your own fabrics. Thangles block of the month contest. Be part of the fun and you could win. After your blocks are completed purchase all fabric to put you quilt together; sashing, borders, backing, batting and binding and your quilt will be on display for a viewers choice. You could win a gift basket. Quilts will be on display at A Quilter's Dream, LLC in October for 2 weeks.
Banner of the Month: Each month will be a new banner project and will start in January. Reminder: Wednesdays are KCCP days. Come bring your UFO's to work on and keep Connie Company. The store is open until 5:00 PM.

Gloria will be leaving the beginning of April, so if you have any questions now is the time to ask them. She will be back in late October to start up the class again. If you ordered buttons, they are in. Angels Among Us is dedicated to Nicole Marie Czernuch who is my Angel.

Recovering: My good friend Michael had his reversal surgery for diverticulitis and is doing well. He will be in the hospital for about one week then at home, and then back to work in about 6 weeks. He will be glad when this is all over.
Classroom Makeover: The Classroom makeover is now complete and it looks great. The floor is painted blue, carpeting is down, tables and chairs are set up and quilts are hanging. Joan, Ed, Gloria, Julio and I worked hard on the room. Ed and Julio did the hardest work by moving all the stuff out of the room and painting then Ed and I moved it all back.
Rummage Sale and Donations: Michael is doing well. His last surgery was a huge success and his doctor told him he can start doing more stuff but he is still not able to go back to work. He has gain 15 pounds and his color looks great. Soon he will be back in the shop daily I can't wait. I miss his company.
